We’re very excited to announce Moist Ghost’s Big Game Hunter as our seventeenth official release. Hailing from Atlanta and known in larger music circles as Taste Tester, Moist Ghost is the deranged and experimental side of 20-year old producer Sam Wilhoit. Taking cues from the golden-age of dubstep, modern footwork and combining them with haunting textures spawning from the darkest corners of the ocean, his contribution to Atlantics Vol. 2 along with the fiery Astrocast21 are telling cues of what to expect from the LP.

To celebrate the August 28th release, we will be flying Moist Ghost here to Brooklyn to do the dirty bird and perform at our monthly party on Friday, September 7th at FreeCandy. Joining him on the bill to complete the night’s soundtrack will be a cast of globally-minded, East Coast based producers and DJs. As usual, Astro Nautico residents will be holding down all the in-between sounds for the night, set against movie-theatre sized VHS projections in our neon playground, all of which will be streaming live for the rest of the world.
